  1. How do I change the browsing currency?

    Choose your desired currency from the Flag drop down menu at the top of the page.

  2. How do I browse your offline inventory of back issues?

    Our collection can be found here https://cloud.collectorz.com/MatthewF/comics?viewCollection=in-collection. Most items in our collection are for sale, contact us for current prices. There are some comics that we will only sell as a set.

  3. What if you don't have what I'm looking for?

    We also have access to a back issue warehouse of approximately 200,000 comics, e-mail us if you are looking for something we don't have and we will do our best to help out.

  4. What Cleaning and Pressing Services do you Offer?

    Basic clean and press is $15 for books with fair market value up to $300.

    That includes general de-greasing and cleaning of front and back cover, spot cleaning defects that can be removed without damaging the finish, removal of surface grime and dirt on white areas, especially rear spine edge which is notorious for dirt build up.

    Pressing to remove non color breaking creases, remove waffling and even edges.

    I will discuss with potential customers what they can expect before doing any work.

    What is not covered, correcting spine rolls, shipping to or from, more extensive cleaning and repair work.

    Spine rolls can be corrected, it just takes more time so there is a surcharge.

  6. Where do you ship?

    We ship world wide, the cart will automatically calculate shipping based on weight to any destination in Canada or the USA.  For international orders please contact us for a total invoice.

  7. How do you ship?

    All items are shipped through Chit Chat Express courier service who has contacts with national and international shipping companies.  Packages are shipped with tracking and insurance.

  8. What is your return policy?

    Returns accepted within 14 days of receiving the order, buyer pays return shipping.  All orders are shipped with tracking and insurance, if an item is damaged or lost in transit you will receive a full refund.

  9. Do you offer local pickup?

    We do offer local pickup in Oshawa, ON, Can, please contact us in advance to arrange a pickup time.

  10. How can I pay?

    We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Android Pay directly through our site.  If you would like to pay with an E-Transfer please contact us prior to check out so we can send you a custom invoice. If picking up locally you can also pay with Cash or Debit.

  11. How much does shipping cost?

    Shipping is based on weight categories but breaks down roughly as follows:

    US Customers: 1 comic, $8.50 shipping. Additional comics approximately $0.50 per comic up to 10 comics total.

    Canadian Customers: 1 comic, $13 shipping. Additional comics, up to approximately 12, ship for no extra charge.

    International Customers: 1 Comic, $13 shipping. Additional comics approximately $1 per comic.

    50 Comics to Canada is $25, to the US is $35.

    100 Comics to Canada is $40, to the US is $70.

  12. Why is Canadian shipping so expensive?

    We ship with tracking and insurance through Chit Chats Express. $13 covers the first weight class, whether you buy 1 comic or 15. It includes the postage, insurance and packaging materials.

  13. How do you determine a comics estimated grade?

    We use the most current copy of the Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics which uses the 10 point CGC grading system, consultation with other experts in the industry and my personal experience. Any listed grade of a RAW comic is my opinion only and is no guarantee of grading from a 3d party grading service. If you have a concern regarding a listed grade, please ask for additional photos and use your own judgement before making a purchase. If you require a comic in a guaranteed grade, please purchase one already slabbed and graded from a reputable service.

  14. Why are there no prices in the online CLZ listings?

    With market fluctuations and changes in buying patterns it is not feasible for us to have an up to date price for all issues in the online collection. If you are interested in something please send us a message and we will get a price for you as soon as possible.

  15. Are the prices in the shop firm?

    All prices are negotiable within reason. Current inventory, popularity of the title, volume of order and customer history will all affect any potential discounts.

  16. How do you determine your prices?

    We review online sales and in store prices and generally list our items just below market value. Modern comics with a cover price of $3 Canadian or more are normally listed at, or just above, cover price if they are NM or better.

  17. Why do I have to pay for return shipping?

    All items are shipping with insurance to cover loss or damage. Listings are accurately described and verified before shipping. We have never had a product returned and the only reason we can see for it would be if a customer changed their mind. If we make an error and ship you the wrong product we will either pay for the return shipping or give you the item for free and make good the rest of the order.

  18. How do you pack your comics for shipping?

    All comics are shipped bagged and boarded in a Gemini Comic Mailer or a box protected with bubble raw and crushed paper.
